Location: Livingston, Scotland.
The private archives of M R Chesa (also spelt Cheza) are mentioned in the bibliography of Le Tresor Maudit. I have heard that he was responsible for some of the "embellishments" of the Rennes-le-Château story. What is known about him?

Looks an awful lot like "marchesa".
